Pontifical Missionary Society (PMS) in the Diocese of Dedza animated 89 leaders (57 males and 32 females) on Saturday 14th March 2026. This exercise is in preparation for the launch of Vocation Sunday on 15th March and the actual celebration of Vocation Sunday on 26th March 2026.

The animation began at 10 am with welcoming remarks from the Parish Priest of Mua, Fr. Paul Sanogo and ended at 3 pm with closing remarks and prayer by the Diocesan PMS Director, Fr. Luke Sulumba.

Five topics were covered during the animation session: Pontifical Mission Societies in general, Vocation in the Catholic Church, World Mission Rosary and Novena of Pauline Marie Jaricot, Leadership in Small Christian Communities up to Parish level, and Aspects of the Catholic Social Teaching.
Members were also drilled on how to prepare well for Vocation Sunday and later left on their own to set targets for the forthcoming 26/04/26 Paper Sunday for Vocation Sunday at Mua Parish, which is hosting the Diocesan Function this year.
